The police swung into action after making and sharing some obscene videos.
In fact, recently, a reel was made of eunuchs dancing on film songs on the biggest flyover of Madhya Pradesh built in Jabalpur, which was shared on social media. This video became a topic of discussion after it went viral. Apart from this, eunuchs have shot reels in main markets, railway station platforms and even on railway tracks. Kinnars are trying to increase followers, get likes and comments on social media through these reels.
However, controversy arose over these reels when they were seen as obscene dances. The video of eunuchs dancing obscenely on film songs has attracted people's attention. On receiving information about these incidents, Jabalpur police came into action. According to the police, the social media IDs of these reels are being verified and appropriate action will be taken against those spreading obscenity in public places.
Additional SP Anand Kaladagi said that such actions are damaging the image of the city. This incident has raised questions on the dignity and safety of public places. People are considering it as indiscipline and indecent conduct in the name of entertainment. At the same time, some people of the transgender community have called it a means of expressing themselves.
Jabalpur Police says that strict steps will be taken to curb misuse of social media and inappropriate behavior in public places.
