Ilaiyaraaja , affectionately referred to as " Isaignani " and celebrated as the "King of Music" by Kollywood fans, continues to captivate hearts both with his music and his spiritual pursuits . In recent years, the legendary composer has been making pilgrimages to prominent temples across Tamil Nadu, reflecting his deep devotion. Ilaiyaraaja landed in Tirunelveli today (Jan 17) as he arrived in the city for a musical concert , and he will be performing some of his iconic songs. While in Tirunelveli for a music event, he took the opportunity to visit the 1,200-year-old Nellaiappar and Gandhimathi Amman Temple. Photographs of this spiritual visit quickly went viral, further highlighting his reverence for tradition.
