The actor was attacked by a stranger in his Bandra house late Wednesday night, in which Saif suffered several serious knife injuries near the neck and spine. After this attack, he was immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he had to undergo emergency surgery.

How is Saif's health now?

The doctors of the hospital shared on Saturday that Saif's health is better now. He has come out of the ICU and started taking a normal diet. According to the doctors, it will take time for Saif to recover completely, but his condition is stable and he is feeling improvement in his health.

Dr. Nitin Dange, neurosurgeon of Lilavati Hospital, said on Friday, "We are monitoring his health. He is improving very well as per our expectations. We have advised him bed rest. If he feels comfortable, we can discharge him in two to three days. Dr. Dange also informed that a team of doctors examined him and encouraged him to walk.

Police intensified investigation
It is worth noting that Mumbai Police has formed more than 30 teams to search for the attacker. So far, more than 15 people have been questioned by the police. Police have started an investigation of people who roam around unnecessarily at night. Also, people whose names are already in the police records are being called to the police stations for questioning. During the interrogation, the police is also showing the pictures of the accused captured in the CCTV footage.
