On Friday Kareen Kapoor recorded her statement to the Mumbai Police regarding the attack on her husband Saif Ali Khan who was stabbed six times by an intruder on Thursday Morning at their Bandra apartment in Mumbai. The actress revealed that the attacker was very aggressive and stabbed Saif multiple times during the incident. According to India Today Kareena shared I was scared. Karisma (Kapoor) took me to her house. The attacker didn’t steal anything. Saif intervened to protect younger son Jehangir (Ali Khan) and the attacker was unable to reach him. She added Saif tried to save children and women. After Saifs attack the actress issued statement and requested privacy during such challenging time for her family. Sharing it on her social media Kareenas statement read It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. Following the incident Saif Ali Khan was quickly rushed to Lilavati Hospital by his son Ibrahim Ali Khan where he underwent surgery. While the actor is out of danger doctors are continuing to monitor him. So far no arrests have been made in the case.
