Approval for third launch pad in Sriharikota

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the cabinet has approved the third launch pad in Sriharikota. It will be modern. This will be helpful for the next-generation launch vehicle. On this launch pad, the rocket can be laid down, assembled, and then stood upright again. Its cost will be Rs 3985 crore. Its capacity will be more than the earlier two launch pads.

Work will be completed in 48 months.
