For almost three days, only one news is going on in the entire country and that is the attack on Bollywood actor and actor Saif Ali Khan Pataudi, known as Chhote Nawab in the film industry. When the country woke up on the morning of 16 January 2025, the first news on every news channel was that actor Saif Ali Khan has been attacked 6-7 times with a sharp weapon and he is admitted to the hospital for treatment. He underwent a very long surgery and a piece of about one and a half inch long knife was removed from his spinal cord. A lot has happened so far in this three-day old case.

1. 15-16 January… Around 2 to 2:30 in the night, an unknown person entered Saif's Satguru Sharan apartment in Bandra with the intention of theft.
2. The accused enters the room of Saif-Kareena's sons Taimur and Jahangir (Jeh), which is seen by Jeh's nanny. He moves towards Jeh.
3. Before the nanny can say anything to stop the accused, he signals her to keep quiet. When she moves forward to raise her voice, the accused attacks her.
4. The other nanny makes noise, hearing which Saif comes into the children's room. There is a scuffle between the accused and Saif, in which the accused stabs him 6-7 times.
5. Saif suffers injuries to his neck, hands and spine. Getting the opportunity, the accused runs away from there via the stairs (from where he came).
6. Saif is immediately taken to Lilavati Hospital. If there is no vehicle at the spot, they are taken to the hospital by auto where they are treated.
7. Mumbai Police and forensic team reach Saif-Kareena's house and investigation begins. Meanwhile, a video of Kareena surfaced in which she was looking very upset.
8. The investigation begins and the first picture of the criminal emerges, in which he is seen running down the stairs.
9. The police also suspect the nanny of Saif's son Jeh and her statement is taken, in which she tells the entire story of the night.
10. Kareena Kapoor posted on social media site Instagram asking everyone to maintain calm and support the family in such times.
11. To catch Saif's attacker, Mumbai Police forms 20 teams and the search for the criminal begins.

16. Second CCTV footage of the person attacking Saif comes to light. He is seen going inside through the stairs.
17. Reiki video also appears outside Shahrukh Khan's house. A suspect in the case of attack on Saif Ali Khan is caught from Durg railway station in Chhattisgarh. RPF takes him into custody from the train.
18. According to the police, the suspect revealed his name as Akash Kanojia. The mobile phone and the bag seen in CCTV are recovered from him.
19. Mumbai Police is investigating the case and there is news that Saif Ali Khan may be discharged soon.
