He has become the first West Indies bowler to take 5 or more wickets in a Test innings on Pakistan soil. He has broken a 66 year old record in this matter. Earlier in the year 1959, West Indies spinner Sunny Ramadhin had taken 4 wickets for 25 runs in an innings while playing a Test on Pakistan soil.
Apart from this, this is the third best bowling performance by a foreign bowler on Pakistani soil. In 1985, Sri Lanka's Ravi Ratnayake took 8 wickets for 83 runs and in 1983, Pakistan's Kapil Dev took 8 wickets for 85 runs.
He has become the third left-arm spinner from West Indies to take 10 or more wickets in a Test match. Let us tell you that Warrican had taken 3 wickets in his account in the first innings.
