Prayagraj, January 19: In a shocking incident, a significant fire broke out in a camp located in Sector 19, Tulsi Marg, during the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 on Sunday. There are reports that the fire erupted was triggerred due to the explosion of around two gas cylinders in rapid succession. The incident has caused panic among the devotees present at the Mahakumbh.
The videos of the massive fire are circulating on social media and the video shows massive blaze erupting out of the tents set up for the sea of devotees who are attending the Mahakumbh. The official handle of the Maha Kumbh has reported that the fire has been doused and all the devotees were evacuated to safety.
It also said, "As soon as the fair administration got information about the fire in the premises, it controlled the fire with its quick action and promptness. Everything is normal as before. The efficient management of the fair administration has saved us from a major mishap. The fair administration and the fire brigade deserve congratulations."
