CM Yogi reviewed the progress of projects of different departments, including Gorakhpur Development Authority, Municipal Corporation, Public Works Department, Irrigation Department, Jal Nigam, and GIDA. He gave clear instructions to the officials to complete the project within stipulated time and ensure their high-quality. A nodal officer will be assigned to each project to monitor the progress and give weekly updates to the district magistrate, Gorakhpur.

According to a press release, the district magistrate of Gorakhpur or a senior officer must review all projects every 15 days. CM Yogi also directed the officers to hold regular meetings with public representatives to discuss progress and take their suggestions. Highlighting the importance of public participation, CM Yogi directed officials to maintain regular communication with public representatives regarding ongoing development efforts.

He underlined the need for tasking officials to address citizen grievances with sensitivity and urgency. He instructed them to promptly resolve complaints registered on the IGRS and CM Helpline while ensuring feedback is collected from complainants to enhance accountability and public trust. CM also asked the officials to engage with entrepreneurs promptly and proactively to resolve their issues.

“Strengthening online mechanisms in GIDA to address entrepreneurs' concerns and ensuring they benefit from government schemes were emphasized. The CM also urged practical engagement with bankers to increase the district's CD ratio from 58% to 75%.,” the release mentioned.

Reiterating his government’s zero-tolerance policy against crime and criminals, he gave emphasis on strict action against the mafia. He told them to identify those who are involved in smuggling of cows and act against them.

He also directed the officials to ensure proper management of traffic in the Gorakhpur city. He emphasised that vehicles are parked only in designated areas.
