Maha Kumbh 2025: Kashi, famous in the country and abroad, has special importance for its sacred ghats and temples. After the bath of Maha Kumbh, a large number of devotees are reaching Kashi for darshan. Due to the proximity of Paush Purnima and Makar Sankranti, the reverse flow of devotees has started in Kashi from Wednesday. Crowds of devotees are gathering for darshan and worship in Ganga Snan, Baba Vishwanath Dham and other temples.
Let us tell you that Kashi has made complete preparations to welcome the devotees. Along with bathing in Ganga, devotees will visit Baba Vishwanath Dham, Kalbhairav Temple and other Shiva temples. A huge crowd of devotees is expected at the temples, and elaborate arrangements have been made to welcome the devotees in this religious city.
The number of devotees is increasing rapidly as Paush Purnima and Makar Sankranti fall close to each other. After taking bath in Mahakumbh on Makar Sankranti, a large number of people are heading towards Kashi. The reverse flow of devotees has increased in Kashi since January 15.
Special arrangements have been made for darshan and worship in Baba Vishwanath Dham, Kalbhairav Temple and other major Shiva temples of Kashi. Devotees are offering prayers at Baba Vishwanath and other temples after bathing in Ganga. Arrangements for queuing darshan have been ensured in temples.
There will be three nectar baths in Mahakumbh –
1. Makar Sankranti (14 January)
2.Mauni Amavasya (29 January)
3.Basant Panchami (3 February)
The crowd of devotees is likely to double during these special days. Apart from this, on festivals like Mahashivratri, Ekadashi and Pradosh, a large number of devotees will take bath in Ganga and worship in temples.
The administration and temple management in all the major temples of Kashi have made elaborate arrangements to welcome the devotees. Mohit Maharaj, head priest of Kalbhairav temple, said that the administration has made special arrangements for VIP darshan. Also, special arrangements have been made to provide darshan to all the devotees with ease.
More than 15 lakh devotees are likely to visit Kashi every day during Mahakumbh. A flood of faith of devotees will be seen at the Ganga Ghats and temples. Kashi is fully ready to serve and welcome the devotees.
