presenter admitted she once had an off-screen row with her co-star .

The 58-year-old broadcaster revealed she clashed with the TV presenter, 63, while they were filming a nest of birds for the nature show, .

The star has been working with her fellow wildlife presenter for several years across various BBC nature shows including Autumnwatch and Countryfile.

But it hasn't always been plain sailing for the dynamic duo as she opened up about their sometimes opposing presenting styles in an interview with.

She told the publication: "He has all the facts, whereas I love the stories surrounding a particular nest.

"Last year I had to really fight my corner - a buzzard pecked its sibling to death and chucked it out of the nest onto the ground. Chris and the team wanted tp put a camera on all the beasts that were eating it.

"He was saying, 'It's really interesting' I said, 'Yes, but it's a step too far. Our audience has invested in that little chick, we don't need to see it now being decimated with a slow-mo camera."

Michaela added: "In the end we didn't have room for the footage. You've got to keep it a little bit positive." The mum-of-four has worked on Springwatch alongside Chris since 2011, but before that she hosted Countryfile for over a decade.

The TV presenter's now competing in this year's Dancing on Ice - and according to Betfair odds, she's a favourite to win the series.

She surprised viewers with her stunning performance alongside professional figure skater Mark Hanretty - topping the leaderboard with an impressive 30.5 points out of a possible 40.

It comes after her co-star Chris pledged to wear a glittery leotard on TV if his Winterwatch co-star makes it to the ITV final. The BBC star said he even sees his colleague as a potential winner of the competition, in an interview with .

He told the outlet: "I'll get my own glittery leotard in support. I'll get the glitter out." And the presenter admitted he was "leaping around his living room" after her incredible performance on Sunday night (January 19).

Speaking about her amazing routine, he gushed: "I thought she was absolutely outstanding. She was brilliant. Oh my God, she was so good. So, so good. Everything she did was in time.

"It was smooth, she was clearly enjoying it and looking confident as well as competent. She blew them out the water. I texted her straight away. I said she nailed it. I couldn't believe it. Anyway, I gave it an hour and I rang her up. I could barely contain my excitement."
