January 21, Mumbai Actress Kritika Kamra said that she is attracted to characters that defy preconceptions and that she deliberately rejects work that exalts weak, dependent women, whether it is playing a strong spy in “For Your Eyes Only” or a shrewd police officer in “Gyaarah Gyaarah.”

Kritika talks about her experience, saying, “I’m drawn to roles that break stereotypes, from playing a tough spy in For Your Eyes Only to a sharp-witted cop in Gyaarah Gyaarah.”

Her goal is to portray women in storylines that are more powerful.

“I want to share tales of strong, multifaceted women who defy social norms and hold their own. The actress said that portraying people with depth and purpose that motivate viewers is more important than just taking on various parts.

She emphasized her strategy by saying, “I’ve deliberately let go of work that glorifies weak, dependent women.” My characters have their own opinions. They have a voice that demands to be heard, autonomy, and resilience.

“I feel it is my duty as an actor to portray women who are strong and unique,” Kritika remarked.

Regarding her career, Kritika’s next project is “Matka King.” It explores the complex realm of Matka gaming, which originated in Mumbai. Vijay Varma also appears in the series, playing the title character of the Matka King.

Kritika became well-known for portraying Arohi Sharma in the television series “Kitani Mohabbat Hai.” After then, she appeared in programs including “Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta,” “Reporters,” and “Kuch Toh Log Kahenge.”

In addition, the actress has performed on the dance reality program “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7” and shown off her skills in shows like “Tandav” and “Bambai Meri Jaan.” ‘Mitron’, the 35-year-old actress’s first motion picture, came out in 2018.
