After her second diagnosis, Fergie wrote a heartbreaking Instagram post: "I have been taking some time to myself as I have been diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer, my second cancer diagnosis within a year after I was diagnosed with breast cancer this summer and underwent a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery."

Princess Beatrice initially was meant to spend Christmas with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's family, but she joined the Firm in Sandringham and it's believed that Princess Eugenie celebrated the festive season with her in-laws.

The entire York Family were separate at Christmas, as Sarah and Prince Andrew were notably absent from the Christmas festivities at the King's Sandringham too.

The former couple were said to have stayed at their shared residence - the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

In the lead-up to Christmas, Prince Andrew made headlines amid his connections to an alleged Chinese spy, Yang Tengbo, and opted to skip Christmas festivities with the royals.

In a statement from his office, the Duke of York said he had cut ties following "advice" from officials but insisted the pair had never discussed anything of a "sensitive nature". Businessman, Mr Yang, also strongly denied the allegations against him.
