Ameesha Patel further said, 'The biggest hits of that year were our Telugu films and Tamil films. So I liked working in South films. The films there have a different story, their way of working is very different, they work very hard on their scripts. Their specialty is that they work very hard in writing the story of their film. They don't make projects, they make subjects. Those people are very advanced technically.
Their camera department, VFX department, everyone works very hard in every department. The biggest thing is that all the actors in South are very good, both in acting and in nature. They are also amazing at dancing and I wondered whether I would be able to do those dance steps with them. But I did it and I enjoyed it a lot, so I would like to say, I liked working in South films very much.
In the year 2023, after a long time, Ameesha Patel returned to films through Gadar 2. In 2001, Ameesha worked with Sunny Deol in the film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The film Gadar 2 made a great collection of Rs 686 crore at the box office. Ameesha started her Bollywood career in 2000 with the film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and that film also proved to be a blockbuster. After this, Ameesha worked with many big actors in Telugu and Tamil films.
