In October last year, the makers announced 'Mirzapur: The Film', making the popular crime drama the first OTT series to be made as a film as well. At the same time, now new information has come to light about the shooting of this series. According to reports, the film directed by Gurmeet Singh as well as the fourth season of the series starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and Shweta Tripathi Sharma will be shot simultaneously from September 2025.

Dates of all the actors taken together

Shooting a film and a series simultaneously can be difficult, but the report claims that the makers planned it assuming that there will be continuity in the narrative. Also, the dates will also be used well. Bulk dates have already been taken from actors including Divyendu, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Duggal and Vijay Verma. The team has managed to plan to utilize his dates optimally and since it is not wise to take dates from him again and again, the makers have decided to shoot both the projects simultaneously.

Shooting will take place in Uttar Pradesh
If everything goes as planned, the shooting will commence in Uttar Pradesh. A portion of it will also be shot in Mumbai. It will be an exciting challenge for the cast and crew to work on two different formats at the same time. Gurmeet will direct the film, which is written by Puneet Krishna, who serves as the producer of the show.
