Visiting Kartavya Path To Witness Republic Day Celebrations? Do NOT Bring These Items

As India gears up to celebrate Republic Day, Delhi Police has issued an advisory for visitors attending the Republic Day function at Kartavya Path. To ensure safety, the public is requested not to bring the following prohibited items to the venue:

Visitors are urged to report any unidentified objects to the nearest security personnel immediately. Delhi Police has also appealed for cooperation during frisking and security checks to ensure a safe and smooth event, the advisory stated
Moreover, the presence of
16 tableaux from the states(and they will have more than defence-related features) and from 15 different ministries and services suggests more socio-cultural inputs as does having more sarpanches from different parts of the country, particularly where the government's flagship programmes have been successfully implemented.
