@beccaeatseverything has ranked nine tins of sausage and beans from worst to best in her opinion, and the tin that took the top spot may come as a surprise. Unfortunately for vegetarians and vegans, it's the Heinz beans and vegan sausages costing £2 that came in last place.

Then, she gave Heinz beans and Richmond sausages eighth place, describing the taste as "a bit soapy". She also described the sausages as being like "absolute mush". "It's like eating melted plastic," she fumed. She gave them a three out of 10, and to make matters worse, it was £1.40 for a half tin.
In seventh place were the beans and sausages, which will set you back just 90p. Becca said that there was "no flavour coming from anything" when she tried them, saying it was "so bland". She gave the tin 3.5 out of 10.
In sixth place, just missing out on the top five, were the 99p beans and sausage. Becca said that the beans "have got a nice richness" to them, but she said she wasn't a fan of the "slimy and fatty" sausages. She gave them a four out of 10.
Next up were the 59p Newgate beans and sausage, which are from budget retailer . She said there was "nothing particularly bad" about them, but she said they lacked flavour, saying it was too "subtle," deciding to rank them five out of 10.
"In fourth place, just slightly better, it's ," Becca shared, saying that the 57p tin reminded her of what "Heinz baked beans and sausage used to taste like". She said that the sausages were really similar to the ones Heinz used to use, but "thicker," and she said she didn't "mind the beans," rating them seven out of 10.
Branston took third place, thanks to the "very soft" sausages, and not only are they soft, but they have a "better flavour", according to Becca. "There's a lot of sauce here, but it does have a nice spiced undertone," she praised, ranking the tin eight out of 10.
In second place was a 56p tin of beans, which would be fantastic news for bargain hunters, and it was the offering. "That's actually alright," she gushed, saying that she wasn't "expecting any of these to be good" because she only likes the original Heinz beans and sausage, "not this Richmond c**p they're doing now," but she said the Tesco ones were "nice". She ranked them 8.5 out of 10.
Finally, in a shock to many, the beans and sausage tin at the top of the list were from , and they'll only set you back 57p. "It's a surprise to us all," she gushed, saying: "The bean sauce is quite thick on this one, I like it. It's got some nice spices in there. Sort of like a garlicky, oniony undertone." She said the sauce was "a little bit too sweet," but shared that she did "like the sausages". She ranked them a nine out of 10.
