West Ham United reportedly have no intention of making an approach for Barcelona attacker Ansu Fati during the January transfer window.
With Graham Potter having recently been appointed as the new Hammers head coach, the Englishman is keen to add to his options in the final third.
As a result of Fati dropping down the pecking order under Hansi Flickan exit from Camp Nou is regarded as a realistic possibility before the February 3 deadline.
Nevertheless, as per Football Insiderthe East Londoners are highly unlikely to pursue a deal for the Spain international.
Former scout Mick Browna regular contributor to the outlet, said: “I wouldn’t expect West Ham to sign him. It’s a dangerous move, because wherever he’s been he’s had injury issues.
“That’s a huge concern, especially when you look at the injuries they’ve already had this season.
“He didn’t exactly shine at Brighton, and now Barcelona want to let him go because they don’t think he’s going to do it for them.”
Fati has made just one start and seven substitute appearances in all competitions during 2024-25.
