Reports suggesting that Aziz Yildirim, former president of Fenerbahce, gifted a luxury electric vehicle to Mesut Ozil have sparked significant attention.
The reports claim that Yildirim gave Ozil a BMW i7 worth $250,000 as a gesture for his wife, Amine Ozil, and their children to travel more comfortably.
Yildirim, however, has strongly denied the allegations and described them as entirely fabricated.
Several outlets reported that Yildirim gifted the high-end BMW i7 to Ozil. According to Mehmet Ustundag’s article, the car, described as a top-tier electric model, was chosen to ensure Amine Ozil and her children could travel with greater comfort.
The article emphasized the vehicle’s premium features, stating, “BMW i7 is one of the most prestigious models in the electric vehicle world, offering high-end technology and environmentally friendly benefits.” These reports framed the alleged gift as a thoughtful act of friendship.
Aziz Yildirim promptly responded to the reports, dismissing them as baseless.
Yildirim further declared that he would pursue legal action against the allegations and urged the public to disregard such claims. “I ask the public not to give any credibility to these false reports,” he said.
While Aziz Yildirim denied the claims, reports continued to circulate, describing the alleged gift as a $250,000 BMW i7.
The claims framed the gesture as reflecting a close bond between Yildirim and Ozil, despite Yildirim’s strong denial of any such gift.
