Day 2 of the Hyderabad Premier Golf League (HPGL), which was hosted at the scenic Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club, saw more intense action. The 12 competing teams’ talent, strategy, and nerve were once again put to the test in the Stableford format, which caused a sharp change in momentum.
With an outstanding total score of 199 points, the MYK Strikers took first place for the day and stole the show. Sunil Godavarthi spearheaded their attack and put on an outstanding individual display, adding 37 points to his team’s remarkable total. With 182 points, the Synthokem Swing Kings continued to dominate Group A, while the Meenakshi Mavericks led Group B with a strong showing of 184 points.
Nikhil Mathur scored 36 points for the Swing Kings while Pranav Kode contributed 33 points for the Mavericks, demonstrating individual skill. Tanuj Vohra had the day’s best performance, scoring an incredible 38 points for Tutoroot to win the coveted World of Hyatt MVP award. His outstanding performance emphasized the league’s focus on both individual and team performance. The fight to the top is more intense than ever as we move into the next round, with Agile Dirty Dozen dominating the overall scoreboard with 381 points, closely followed by Synthokem Swing Kings (378) and MYK Strikers (365). Now that two rounds have been completed, the HPGL leaderboard is preparing for an exciting conclusion as teams compete to outscore and outplay one another for the coveted championship.

Group A: Rough Riders: 334 points; Tutoroot: 363 points; Synthokem Swing Kings: 378 points
Group B: Cemetrix Golfers: 340 points, Team Mysa: 347 points, and Mavericks: 362 points
Group C: Kalinga Warriors (352 points), Angry Birds (357 points), and Team Alpha (358 points).
Group D: Continental Warriors: 363 points; MYK Strikers: 365 points; Agile Dirty Dozen: 381 points (highest of all groups).
