' Ellie Costello left viewers enraged after sharing a shocking revelation about her car's fog lights.

After being inundated with backlash, the presenter took to with an update and said, "Morning. As you can see, it's very foggy out here today.

"Lots of concern about my fog lights because I was saying on air today that I don't know where they are; it's a complete mystery to me.

Ellie added, "I don't think I've actually ever successfully put them on. A lot of you got in touch and said, "I'm looking for the button on the right-hand side of my steering wheel with the squiggly line. "

"So I'm going to go home, check it out and I'll let you know if I successfully find my fog lights because you need them in this weather."

This came after Wednesday's (January 22) broadcast when the presenter returned to screens alongside to address her concerns about driving in the fog.

Eamon shared: "Yesterday on the programme, Ellie was complaining about the fog," to which she interrupted: "I never complain, I was explaining."

The 65-year-old continued: "She was explaining that there was fog that was getting on her nerves and she was driving through it.

"But then I asked her 'did you put your fog lights on,' and Ellie confessed she didn't know how to," and confirmed to viewers: "I don't know where they are."

Eamonn proceeded to read out comments from concerned fans as he explained that "there's a dial for your side lights and main lights down where your right hand is.

"If you pull it out towards you, then your fog lights go on and you know you're fog lights are on because a yellow light comes on."

Ellie replied: "I wouldn't even know that but I'll practice this evening and let you know."

However, viewers were unimpressed with the admission and took to social media with fury.

One fan posted: "I'm not sure it's wise that Ellie pretends she doesn't know about her fog lights. Her car insurers wouldn't be impressed."

As another fumed: "Are you serious 3 idiots discussing fog lights and their inability to use correctly! Remove their license and make them resist their test also remove insurance."
