The Oscar nominations are finally out and India is all set to make a powerful statement on the global stage once again! The buzz is real as the short film Ahuja backed by Guneet Monga and Priyanka Chopra has earned a prestigious nomination for the 97th Academy Awards. The announcement was made via The Academys official X (formerly Twitter) account under the category of Nominees for Live Action Short Film. Out of the 180 films that qualified for this category only five films made it to the coveted list. Ahuja joins Alien I’m Not a Robot The Last Ranger and A Man Who Would Not Remain Silent in the race for the Oscar. This marks producer Guneet Mongas fourth nomination following her previous nods for The Elephant Whisperers (2023) Period. End of Sentence (2019) and Kavi (2010).
