Countries Giving PR To Indians: Indians used to go to America to study because they would get a job after completing the course. After working for a few years, the path to permanent residency i.e. Green Card also opened up. However, now a lot of controversy is being seen in America regarding Green Card. There is also a demand to end programs like H-1B visas. In such a situation, let us know about those countries from where it is easy for Indians to get Permanent Residency (PR) after studying.

France

After living in this European country for five years, students can apply for PR. After completing their studies, students have to apply for a ‘Temporary Resident Permit’. This permit is available only if you have studied for a master’s degree or you want to start your own company. Ireland

PR is given in Ireland in three steps, the first of which is that you come on a student visa and complete your studies. Then get a graduate visa and work for one to two years. Through this visa, you will be able to do a full-time job without sponsorship. While on a graduate visa, you will have to apply for a job for a long time, so that you can fulfil the job condition for at least five years. After this, you will become eligible for PR. (Pexels)

Norway

For PR in Norway, you must have a residence permit for at least three years. The time spent during studies will not be counted in this. For PR, you must have a Norwegian university degree. You should have enough money to support yourself financially. You should also know the Norwegian language. You should not have any criminal record. After fulfilling these conditions, you can apply for PR. (Pexels)

Netherlands

To apply for PR in the Netherlands, foreign students must have lived in the country for at least five years, including the time spent studying. Some people apply for a residence permit for an orientation year immediately after completing their studies to meet the five-year requirement. This gives you time to study further. As soon as you have completed the five-year requirement, you can apply for PR. (Pexels)

Germany

After completing your studies in Germany, you get a settlement permit (German PR). But for this, some conditions have to be fulfilled, like you should have a residence permit for two years of work. You should have a job. You should know the German language. It is easier to get permanent residency in Germany than in other European countries. (Pexels)
