ISRO Gaganyaan Mission: Indian Space Agency ISRO has taken full care under its Gaganyaan mission that the entire crew can be kept safe in case of an accident. A crew escape system has been designed for this.

Gaganyaan Mission ISRO: Space, a world where the dream of building a human colony has been seen for a long time. Space agencies around the world are constantly experimenting with this and the process of sending humans into space is also going on. However, so far only three countries have been successful in sending humans into space. These countries are America, Russia, and China. Now India is also engaged in this effort. If everything goes well, India will send humans into space under its Gaganyaan mission this year i.e. in 2025, and will become the fourth country to do so.

Under the Gaganyaan mission, India will send three astronauts into space for three days and will also bring them back safely. For this, four astronauts have been selected, who have been trained in Russia. However, the biggest question is that if there is any problem in the Gaganyaan mission, then how will the three astronauts be protected?

Accidents have happened many times.

Everyone must have heard the name of Indian-origin NASA astronaut Kalpana Chawla. Space Shuttle Columbia met with an accident while returning to Earth and all the astronauts on board died. Kalpana Chawla was also present in it. Given these accidents, India does not want to take any risk regarding the safety of its astronauts. For this, India is constantly experimenting so that even if there is a problem in Gaganyaan, all the astronauts can be brought back to Earth.

ISRO has made complete arrangements

Indian Space Agency ISRO has taken full care under its Gaganyaan mission that the entire crew can be kept safe in case of an accident. For this, a crew escape system has been prepared. In case of emergency, it will bring the entire crew on board Gaganyaan safely to Earth. For this, a crew module has been prepared. It will be a pressurized cabin in which all three astronauts will be seated. This cabin has been designed in such a way that the outer atmosphere or space radiation does not affect these astronauts.

How will the crew escape system work?

The Gaganyaan mission is equipped with a crew escape system. This is the same system, through which the astronauts will be rescued and brought back to Earth during any disturbance. This system will be activated in case of any technical fault or explosion in the Gaganyaan mission and will pull the crew module at a distance of about 2 km from the launch vehicle. After this, they will land in the sea about 14 km from the launch center, after which the Indian Air Force will bring them back. In simple language, it can be understood that it will be like a parachute, which will bring the crew safely to earth.
