It is being told that the marriage of a girl from the same village was fixed with a young man resident of Govindpur Gorio of Saini area, who works in the Air Force in Chennai. Both of them had a Tilakotsav program on 16th January. For this, people from the bride's side reached the groom's house with Tilak. Meanwhile, the girl's family gave her a gold chain, Bullet bike and Rs 2 lakh 51 thousand as gifts. The groom's side clearly refused to accept it.
It is being told that people from the bride's side demanded Rs 5 lakh cash and a Brezza car from the girl's family. When the girl's family could not fulfill this demand, then on January 18, suddenly the people from the groom's side clearly refused to bring the wedding procession until the dowry demand was fulfilled.
