The highlight of the evening was a charming rendition of the beloved song "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai," a classic from the iconic film featuring the trio of Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji.

This enchanting melody, composed by Jatin Lalit and sung by the melodious voices of Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, continues to tug at heartstrings across the globe.


The gathering at Rashtrapati Bhavan was held in honour of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, who is on his inaugural state visit to India and as chief guest for India's 76th Republic Day. The event was graced by senior members of the Indonesian cabinet, all joining in the spirit of celebration.

As the guests enjoyed the performance, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and a shared appreciation for the rich cultural ties between the two nations.

In a momentous lead-up to the 76th Republic Day celebrations, where Indonesia will proudly serve as the chief guest, the festivities were further enhanced by the participation of Indonesia's Genderang Suling Canka Lokananta, a remarkable 190-member ensemble band from the Indonesian Military Academy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed President Subianto, reminiscing about the historical bond that ties the two countries. He highlighted the significance of Indonesia being the chief guest at India’s very first Republic Day, celebrating 75 years of the Republic together – a milestone worth cherishing.

During their discussions at Hyderabad House, both leaders expressed a strong commitment to deepen their comprehensive strategic partnership, focusing on defense, security, maritime cooperation, economic relations, and the flourishing of cultural exchanges.
