revealed Teeth on Saturday night's episode to be none other than Mel Geidroyc.

The hit ITV series returned earlier this month with a line-up of new celebrity contestants hiding behind elaborate costumes and masks.

The new contestants include Bush, Dressed Crab, Bear, Kingfisher, Pegasus, Pufferfish, Snail, Spag Bol, Tattoo, Teeth, Toad In The Hole and Wolf.

However, it was Teeth who was eliminated and they were unmasked as Mel Giedroyc after going against fellow contestant Bear.

Now, viewers have suspected who is behind the mask of Bear, with some convinced they recognise the voice of a quizzer from The Chase.

After the Masked Singer took to the stage to sing Blur's Tender it was difficult for some to determine whose voice it was with some suggesting it was musician Example to actor and comedian Richard Blackwood.

While others had previously claimed it could be Shaun Wallace, otherwise known as The Dark Destroyer.

One wrote: "#MaskedSingerUK Bear is Shaun Wallace from the chase."

Another tweeted: "Starting to think that @TheShaunWallace is under the Bear mask. Could the 2 globes refer to 2 versions of The Chase that he's done? #maskedsingeruk."

A third claimed: "Dark destroyer from the chase as the bear? #MaskedSingerUK."

While a fourth added: "I think that's Shaun Wallace from the Chase! #MaskedSingerUK."

After Saturday night's performance some viewers admitted they have been left more confused about Bear's identity.

One said: "Every time I think I know who Bear is, he sings with a different tone. I'm so confused #maskedsingeruk."

Another agreed: "Bear that wasn't the voice from last week I'm back to square one #MaskedSingerUK."

"Bear is SO good at playing the character that it's hard to work out who he is. He keeps switching it up! So many names buzzing around my head," a fifth commented.

A brand new theory has a lot of fans convinced that Bear is actor Richard Blackwood.

Adding fuel to the fire, the former EastEnders star dropped a handful of teasing clues when he appeared Good Morning Britain this week.

The internet has been buzzing with new theories about who the impressive singer behind the mask really is.

The character said in their VT: "What a way to kickstart the competition!"

This immediately led fans to thinking that Bear is rapper Example, as he has a song called Kickstart.
