Born in Dabhol Maharashtra Sadhana Sargam has sung songs in Hindi Marathi Bengali Nepali and Tamil. A Career in Song Sadhana Sargam inherited her musical talent from her mother Neela Ghanekar a classical singer. She began her career at a young age first performing as a chorus singer in the song Pam Paaarampam Bole Jeevan Ki Sargam from the film Trishna (1978) alongside Kishore Kumar. At just six years old she also recorded the song Ek Anek Aur Ekta for Doordarshan. In 1982 Sadhana made her singing debut in Subhash Ghais Vidhaata with the song Saat Saheliyan which was composed by Kalyanji-Anandji.
