Sridevi the epitome of grace and talent illuminated the silver screen even in her teenage years. From a remarkably young age she embarked on her cinematic journey enchanting audiences with her captivating performances. With each role Sridevi showcased her innate talent and versatility leaving an everlasting mark on Indian cinema. Her evolution from a young starlet to a legendary actress remains a testament to her enduring legacy and timeless charm. The beautiful actress worked in Hindi Tamil Telugu Kannada and Malayalam films. She passed away due to accidental drowning in 2018 when she was 54. Not just the Hindi film industry but the entire nation was left shocked with her death. Sridevis career spanned over 50 years in a wide range of genres. She made her debut as a child in the 1967 Tamil film Kandhan Karunai at the age of four and started her Bollywood journey with 1979s Solva Sawan. Cited as the first female superstar of Indian cinema she won National Film Award and was also honoured with Padma Shri. Rajinikanths one-sided love Many actors admired Sridevi and wanted to date or marry her but few know that Rajinikanth once considered marrying her. Rajinikanth who was 13 years older was very protective of Sridevi. The two acted together in 19 films and over time their professional bond grew into a strong personal connection. Rajinikanth even developed a close relationship with Sridevi’s mother and eventually decided to propose to her. According to an old interview with K. Balachander Rajinikanth went to Sridevi’s house during its Griha Pravesh (housewarming) ceremony to share his intentions. However a sudden power outage plunged the house into darkness. Seeing this as a bad omen Rajinikanth left without proposing. Although he didn’t marry Sridevi Rajinikanth remained friends with her. While it was clear he had feelings for her how Sridevi felt about him has never been known.
