King Charles is currently hiring a housekeeper for the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, where duties include maintaining the historic residence. However, the pay is just £12.60 per hour—compared to £13.39 per hour at the London Kew Bridge Premier Inn.
The Premier Inn role also comes with 20 more hours of work, potentially making it the more lucrative option. Meanwhile, the ’s housekeeper position requires a 7am start, with shifts spanning Monday to Sunday.
