She is an epitome of elegance and simplicity. Although she has been selective about her projects but it never affected her career due to her brilliant screen presence. We are talking about none other than Kajol who made her acting debut in 1992 film Bekhudi at the age of 18. The film however was a major disappointment but still Kajol managed to attract masses with her tremendous acting skills. Later she signed Baazigar opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Shilpa Shetty. The 1993-release turned out to be a blockbuster and made all three stars. Kajol wore a swimsuit in the film where she played the role of Seema. So yes we are actors up to a point but the camera I feel is one of those things it’s like man-made magic and it tends to capture it if you’re not being honest in front of it. At times like this you need to be honest. During the same conversation on Netflix Film Actors’ Roundtable in 2023 The Lust Stories 2 actress mentioned That’s been my thing on it that. ‘No I don’t want to do this. I don’t feel comfortable. I don’t feel comfortable when I have to act out a scene where I am being physically abused or molested.’ I have done it it’s not that I haven’t. But it’s very very very uncomfortable and very disturbing. And I don’t feel I need to do it to prove a point. I can prove my point to be a good actor in 100 different ways. I don’t need this particular experience. Despite this Kajol broke her own rules in one of her series The Trial where she was seen kissing Alyy Khan’s character. Meanwhile Kajol will next appear in Charan Tej Uppalapati’s action-packed Maharagni – Queen of Queens. It marks her reunion with with Prabhu Deva after 27 years. The film will be released in Hindi Tamil Telugu Kannada and Malayalam.
