The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 kicked off with rollover contestant Rahul Ashok Sachdeo, who had secured Rs 20,000 in the previous episode. Host Amitabh Bachchan playfully teased him about his fiancée and inquired if they had spoken since the last episode. Rahul revealed that his soon-to-be wife has a special request—she wants Big B to attend their wedding in May.

Mr Bachchan resumes the game and asks Rs 40,000 question. In which system of the human body are the superior vena cava and the inferior cava primarily involved? Rahul confidently answers Option D) Circulatory and wins the amount. Moving ahead, Rahul faces the question for Rs 80,000 for which he uses his lifeline 'Video Call A Friend'.

In which mountain range is the Siachen Glacier situated? With the help of the lifeline, he selects Option C) Karakorum and wins the amount.

Rahul opened up about the hardships he faced growing up. He recalled about the times he went to collect his results but was denied his marksheet due to unpaid fees. Despite being among the top five students, he couldn’t celebrate his achievements like the others. While the other students celebrated their success, he struggled with unpaid school fees. To support their family his father ran a small stationery shop. Despite challenges, he firmly believes that the name of a college doesn’t define success—what truly matters is wisdom and knowledge. For Rahul, Kaun Banega Crorepati is not just a quiz show but a chance to bring a positive change in his life, a dream he has cherished since childhood.

He gears up to answer the Rs 3,20,000 question. Anda, harmika, and chhatra are the elements of what kind of structure? After much thinking he locks Option A) Buddhist Stupas and wins the amount.

Next Rahul plays Super Sandook and he manages to answer 8 questions correctly. He earns Rs 80,000 and decides to revive his 'Audience Poll' lifeline. Big B reads the question for Rs 6,40,000. Which of these rulers was the founder of a dynasty that ruled in medieval India? As he is not confident of the answer, Rahul uses 'Audience Poll' lifeline and goes with the most voted answer. He locks Option C) Alauddin Khalji and it is the incorrect answer. The correct answer was Option A) Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq.

Rahul takes home Rs 3,20,000.

After Rahul makes an exit, host Amitabh Bachchan plays Fastest Finger First round and Karishma Sharma from Odisha. Upon her selection, Karishma reveals that it was her father's dream to be on the show and she's living that dream. She further reveals she lives in a joint family and has 25-30 members in her family. She requests host Amitabh Bachchan to video call her family and speak to them. Big B speaks to the Sharma family over video call and they all give her best wishes.

Mr. Bachchan read out the first question for Rs 1,000. In a car, wipers usually clear dust and water from which of these surfaces? As Karishma felt extremely nervous being on the show, she immediately requested a lifeline, leaving Big B stunned. But she eventually gathers her confidence and selects Option D) Windshield. It is the correct answer.

Host Amitabh Bachchan playfully teased Karishma for using a lifeline on such a simple question. However, seeing her nervousness, he got up from his seat to comfort her. Big B gently held her hand and encouraged her to take three deep breaths. He even offered her water and tissues, ensuring she felt at ease. He then resumed the game. After correctly answering the question for Rs 10,000, she faces the Super Sawaal. Which state in India has the most number of districts? She correctly answers 'Uttar Pradesh' - and wins Super Power - Dugnastraa.

Karishma opens up about her life and reveals she is currently preparing for competitive exams. Moving ahead in the game she faces the question for Rs 40,000. Which of these plces has GI tags for Paan, tabla, and shehnai? She correctly answers Option D) Banaras. While talking about Banaras, Big B recalls about shooting for the song, Khaike Paan Banaras Waala from Don.

He goes on to share a lesser known fact about the song. Amitabh Bachchan revealed that it was Manoj Kumar who suggested adding the song Khaike Paan Banaras Waala in Don. He mentioned that since the fake Don chewed paan, a song could be built around it. The shoot lasted for 2-3 days, during which he had to chew so many paans that his mouth became sore. He also recalled the intense rehearsals and the scolding he received for his dance moves.

He shared, "Khaike Paan Banaras Waala, naach naach ke haal bura kar diya tha humara. Aapko maalum hai, uss film mein pehle ye gaana tha he nahi. Joh humare director hain, Chandra Barot woh Manoj Kumar ji ke assitant the aur ye unki pehli picture thi direction ki. Toh kyunki Manoj Kumar ji senior the toh salah lene ke liye unhone unko picture dikhayi. Toh Manoj Kumar ji ne kaha, ye second half men ek gaana hona chahiye. Toh ye sab baithe salah kiya kya karna chahiye, tab jaake ye gaana bana. Dusra character joh tha na nakli don paan khata tha, toh unhone kaha paan ke upar kuch bana do. Tab ye gaana bana."

He further talked about eating paan and dancing for the song, "Aur ye gaane ki shooting chalu 3-4 din, itna paan khana pada ke muh sadd gaya humara. Chuna, katha sab lagta raha, baar baar khake dikhana padta raha. Ye hogaya haal humara. Aur bahot kuch haal hua tha kharab humara lekin kya bataye, humko naachna aata nahi hai. Humko itna rehearsals karwaya, itna daanta, phatkara tab jaake joh aapne dekha hai parde par chora mota hogaya hai."
