Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was brutally attacked in his home after an intruder broke in. The Mumbai police remained successful in detaining the accused. Now in a recent update on Saif Ali Khans stabbing case the face recognition test of accused Sariful Islam in the Saif Ali Khan attack case came positive. According to sources in the face recognition test the picture of Shariful who was captured in the CCTB room while coming downstairs from Saifs building matched the picture of Shariful which was taken at the time of the arrest. The previous developments in Saif Ali Khans stabbing case Earlier the Forensic Lab (FSL) collected the actors blood samples and clothes as well as the attackers clothes in order to match Saifs blood stains present on the attackers clothes. Following the investigation the Mumbai Bandra Metropolitan Court sent the accused to 14-day judicial custody. Also a search operation was conducted by the police in the Nadia district of West Bengal. During the investigation a woman wal also interrogated by the police. Last Sunday a two-member police team including police personnel from Mumbai and West Bengal reached the Nadia district. A West Bengal Police source said Mumbai Police has questioned a woman from Chapra in Nadia district in the attack on the Saif Ali Khan case. Police can apply for transit remand to take her to Mumbai. The woman was questioned after the police found out that the accused who stabbed Saif used the sim card registered in the womans name from West Bengal Khukumoi Jahangir Sheikh. As of now the statement of the woman has been recorded and further investigation into the matter is going on. When and how Saif Ali Khan was stabbed? In early January news broke out that Saif Ali Khan had been brutally stabbed inside his 12th-floor residence in the Satguru Sharan building in upscale Bandra. The actor was rushed to Mumbais Lilavati Hospital where he received further treatment. The actor was discharged on January 21st and is now keeping well.
