Rishi Kapoor is considered one of the leading names in Indian cinema. He was someone who effortlessly charmed audience with his tremendous acting and memorable performances. On April 30 he passed away after fighting a two year battle with leukaemia. Despite coming from a film family the late actor faced his share of struggles. In his autobiography Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored the actor spoke about the failure of Karz. When Rishi Kapoor struggled after Karzs box office failure After the film failed Rishi Kapoor  revealed that he fell into a deep depression and would tremble on sets I lost my nerve sinking into a deep depression he shared. I would tremble on the sets and feel faint. I’d sink into my chair go to the makeup room and ask for water he further added. According to reports Rishi Kapoor was left unconscious on film sets which made his father Raj Kapoor worried I felt every ounce of confidence drain out of me. Karz had held great promise I had thought it would do wonders for my career. He mentioned that the cast did a brilliant work in the film and featured amazing music. I believed it would be a resounding success and earn rave reviews. When that didn’t happen I was shattered the wrote. Directed by Subhash Ghai Karz starred names like Rishi Kapoor Tina Munim and Simi Garewal as the leads. The film was produced by Akhtar Farooqui and Jagjit Khurana and the music was composed by duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
