Bhagalpur. Mother and daughter had illicit relations with the same man. A month ago, the husband saw the woman and her lover in a suspicious condition. Since then, the husband and wife started quarrelling.

On Friday night when all the members of the family were asleep, the three together murdered the head of the family by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon and buried the body in the courtyard. The place where the body was buried was covered with bricks. This incident is from Bari Ramasi village of Sinhala police station in Bhagalpur district.

This heartbreaking incident came to light when the elder son came home on Monday. The police have arrested the mother and daughter, while raids are being conducted to arrest their lovers.

Villagers said that Kailu Das (35 years) used to run a small hotel and grocery shop with his wife Sarita Devi, daughter Julie and younger son Devnandan. Kailu's eldest son Dayanand lives in Rajaun of Banka district and works as a cleaner. While running the hotel, many people started meeting Sarita Devi and her daughter Julie. During this time, Dinesh Yadav, a youth from Palwa village started visiting the hotel and her house. Kailu and his wife often quarrelled over the relationship of the three. 

On Monday, when Kailu's elder son Dayanand Kumar reached home, he did not find his father there. He inquired about this from his mother and sister, but both of them did not give any satisfactory answer. After this, he inquired from the villagers. But nothing was found out. He went to the police station to register a report of his father's disappearance. When Sarita Devi and daughter Julie got the information, they both also reached the police station. The three were registering a missing person's case in the police station, meanwhile the villagers called the police and told that a foul smell was coming from the courtyard of Kailu's house. After that, SHO Brajesh Kumar reached the spot with the police force and dug out the body by digging in the courtyard.

The villagers caught the mother and daughter returning from the police station at some distance from the incident spot and beat them up and then handed them over to the police. The police arrested both of them and took them to the police station. During the questioning, both accepted their crime. The SHO said that Dinesh Yadav, who was involved in the crime, had illicit relations with the mother and the daughter. The three together killed Kailu Yadav as per a plan. The police is conducting raids to arrest Dinesh Yadav.
