After nearly a year Shahid Kapoor makes his return to the big screen with Deva an action thriller. While the films climax received praise the overall response has been mixed. According to early trends Deva has earned between Rs 4.80-5.40 crore on its opening day. Shahid Kapoors action thriller had a strong start surpassing the day 1 collections of his 2022 sports drama Jersey (Rs 4 crore). Despite facing tough competition from Akshay Kumars sports drama Sky Force the films performance has been overall promising. Shahid Kapoor-starrer is the fifth Bollywood release of 2025.
