A Muslim youth lured a minor Hindu girl from Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh and took her with him. After this, she was raped. She was pressured to convert to Islam. When the minor refused, he killed her along with his companions. Her body was thrown into the jungles about 500 kilometers away from Lakhimpur. The police have arrested the accused in this case. One of the accused has also been killed in an encounter.

According to media reports, a 17-year-old Hindu minor girl from Goriya village of Padhua police station area of ​​​​Lakhimpur Kheri went missing on January 25, 2025. Her family members searched around but could not find anything.

After this, the victim's family reached Padhua police station and complained about this matter. They alleged that a young man had taken the minor away by deceiving her. They filed a report against 11 people giving the names of his companions.

Since the accused was a Muslim, Hindu organizations also became active in this matter. When the police investigated the matter, it was found that a youth named Asif had taken the Hindu minor with him. The police also found CCTV footage of him.

After this, the police traced his location. It was revealed that Asif had gone from Lakhimpur to Dehradun. On this basis, they reached Dehradun and arrested his associates. When he was interrogated, it was found that the Hindu minor was raped and then murdered.

He told that the minor was raped and then murdered, and the body was thrown in the forests of Ramnagar. The police then recovered the body and got it post-mortem done. After this, the main accused Asif was caught after an encounter with Lakhimpur itself.

The father of the deceased alleged that Asif and his associates were pressuring the minor to convert when she did not agree, she was murdered. Apart from Asif, the police have arrested 6 people including Salman, Rajab, and Zuber in the case.

Hindu organizations have demonstrated this matter. The police is now taking further action.
