Tamannaah Bhatia On Body Positivity & Self-Love: 'I Touch Every Part Of My Body, Thanking It For Withstanding The Day'
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently opened up about her self-care routine, revealing a practice that has helped her embrace self-love. The actress shared that after a long day of work, she takes a shower and expresses gratitude to her body for enduring the day. During an interaction with YouTuber Masoom Minawala, Tamannaah said, "I do love my body. After a long day at work, I take a shower and thank every part of my body. It might sound a bit crazy, but why not? I know how much it takes every day, and I touch every part of my body, thanking it for withstanding the day and being there for me."The actress has always ben vocal about body positivity. In an earlier interview with Instant Bollywood, she had reflected on her past struggles with body image. Tamannaah admitted that, as a child, she believed being skinny equated to being fit. The pressure to conform to industry beauty standards further shaped this mindset, she mentioned. "There was a time when I thought being thin made me beautiful, but I later realised it didn’t truly make me feel good about myself," she reportedly stated. "The times I actually started feeling beautiful had little to do with how thin I was. It took me a long time to understand that," she added.Meanwhile, on the work front, Tamannaah was recently seen in Sikandar Ka Muqaddar, starring alongside Avinash Tiwari. The film also featured Jimmy Shergill as an investigating officer, Jaswinder Singh. Up next, the actress will appear in Odela 2, directed by Ashok Teja and produced by D. Madhu, with Sampath Nandi as the creator. In March 2024, she unveiled a poster from the film, hinting at an intense storyline where she plays a devoted Shiva worshipper.
