The former Shark Tank India judge and BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover slammed Salman Khan for taking faltu ka panga with him while he was on the show. For the unversed when Grover appeared on Bigg Boss 18 in November the superstar grilled the entrepreneur and reminded him of all the negative statements he had made against the actor in the past. In 2019 while leading BharatPe Ashneer Grover signed the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor as the companys brand ambassador. During the Vagerah Vagerah podcast in 2023 Grover revealed that he persuaded the actor to lower his fee from Rs 7.5 crore to Rs 4.5 crore. He also mentioned that the actors team refused to allow him a photo with the star. While on Bigg Boss 18 Ashneer apologized to Salman for the statements he had made in the past. The actor said I dont feel bad about all this. Its just that when you give someone a wrong impression about a person thats not right. Later it will come back to bite you. I just got to know that you were coming. I didn’t even know your name. Now just over two months after his Bigg Boss 18 appearance Ashneer has criticized Salman at an event at NIT Kurukshetra. He said Faltu ka panga leke apna competition khada kiya usne. Main toh shanti se gaya tha jab mereko bulaaya. Ab drama create karne ke liye aap kisi ko bol do ‘Arey main toh aapse mila hi nahi. I don’t even know your name.’ Abey naam nahi jaanta toh bulaaya kyun tha? (He unnecessarily created competition by picking a fight. I went peacefully when I was called. Now to create drama you say you never even met me? You don’t even know my name? If you didn’t know my name why did you call me?) He added Aur ek baat main bata deta hoon. Tum agar meri company ke brand ambassador the toh aisa nahi ho sakta ki tum mujhse bina mile brand ambassador ban gaye. Main bhi kamino ki tarah hi company chalata tha.
