Love Island star has revealed her involvement in a terrifying collision with a double decker bus.

The mum was travelling with her one-year-old daughter Lucia when her car crashed into the red bus.

Taking to , Shaughna shared a photo of the vehicle's windscreen which had been completely smashed with a front panel hanging off on the driver's side.

A shaken Shaughna penned: “Was involved in a minor crash last night with a bus. Could have been so much worse, and with Lucia in the car which was the scariest part!

"A bit sore today but I’ll any day. Always wear your seatbelts,” she added. Earlier in the day, Shaughna had revealed she'd visited a branch of Toby Carvery with her daughter for lunch.

The scary incident comes almost a year after Shaughna was left shaken after witnessing a fatal accident. Shaughna was left heartbroken after seeing a motor bike crash that left a man in his 30s dead. Shaughna said said she could not stop thinking about the incident that happened in may last year as she reminded her followers that “tomorrow is really not promised.”

She wrote: “Have just seen that a man in his 30’s died at the scene of that crash. Have not stopped thinking about it all day, tomorrow really is not promised.”

“Sending so much love to the poor family and anyone who witnessed that this morning.”

Shaughna rose to fame on the winter series of in 2020 where she was coupled up with Callum Jones until Casa Amor where he returned recoupled with Molly Smith.

In April 2023, she announced the birth of her first child. The Love Island star shared the exciting news on Instagram writing: “My darling Lucia, I wish I had you sooner so I could love you longer. 04/04/23. 8lb 8oz. 8:10pm.”

Before Shaughna revealed that the father of her child had been released from prison as she asked fans 'not to judge her' for standing by him.

In September she told fans she’d been with Billy for four years. Shaughna was pregnant with Lucia when he was sentenced to nine years in prison.

But Billy was released in November after serving just 12 months of his sentence. He was handed a jail term after admitting conspiracy to supply 4.5kg of cocaine worth at least £360,000,

Speaking about her ordeal in her podcast, , Shaughna said" “It's the most gut-wrenching position to be in.

"And, I mean, before I even answer this question, I want to just put it out there that you can judge me all you want, but please don't let me know, because I feel like unless you've been in this position you can't really have an opinion on it.

"Because before I was in this position, before I had a baby, if you had asked me would I ever, ever take my child into a prison, the answer would be absolutely not. Anyone that does that is crazy. And then, lo and behold, I'm now in this position. And I think the thing is, we're always going to be co-parents."

She went on: "And I know that me and my dad had the best relationship ever, and to me, my dad is the best person in the . And I don't want Lucia to think differently of her father. I would never, ever stop him from seeing her, ever."
