When Ranjeets relationship with his daughter was misunderstood Recalling an incident Ranjeet mentioned that once when he went out to a restaurant with his daughter Divyanka people would look at him and assume that he is going out with young girls. Speaking to ETimes the actor said I used to visit my daughter when she was studying in Delhi. We would walk together in a restaurant and people would look at me and comment How disgusting! He is going out with young girls. There was a family sitting next to us and the husband kept shouting at them not to look at me. It was really making me uncomfortable. Ranjeet added that he lost his temper with the waiter yelling that he was with his daughter So when the waiter came to take the food order I said loudly Arey beti lekar aayi hai ussey poocho. Immediately after that the same husband comes and requests me that his wife wanted a picture with me. So I often did it to let people know that I dont go out with call girls. It was my screen image that often scared people. Throughout his career Ranjeet has worked alongside some of Bollywoods biggest stars including Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna. Although over the last decade the actress has appeared in just two Hindi films Welcome Back (2015) and Housefull 4 (2019). He is set to return in Housefull 5 scheduled for release in 2025.
