Sonu Soods directorial debut Fateh is a proof that a great film doesnt always need a big price tag or an A-list cast to succeed. Made in a modest budget of Rs 30 crore the action-packed thriller has emerged as one of 2025s biggest surprise hits. Sonu Sood has not only starred in film but has also taken on multiple roles including direction and designing the films high-octane action sequences. Soods hands-on approach to filmmaking has been widely been praised. The action-paced thriller has already grossed Rs 30.7 crore with many praising the actors detailed attention to filmmaking. One of Fatehs biggest draws is its action scenes which has been choreographed by International stunt director Lee Whittaker who is renowned for Captain Marvel and Fast & Furious 5. Fateh is co-produced by Sonus Shakti Sagar Productions and Zee Studios. The film focuses on the fight against cybercrime inspired by the real-life instances during COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier while speaking to ANI Sonu Sood shared her directorial experience and recalled that an action scene took him 2.5 months during the making of the film. When you become director then you can write actions. I wrote each action scene including if the character would be hit with a plate or spoon or pen or drill. So time invested in writing made the action better. People are appreciating the action. We did a lot of work on that. We have also spent 2.5 months on an action shot. Hence I believe that efforts always harbours appreciation. Sood said.
