IISER IAT 2025 Registration: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has released the information brochure for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025. Through this exam, admission will be given in the BS-MS Dual Degree Program and 4-Year BS Degree. Eligibility Criteria for IISER IAT 2025
General Category (GEN) and Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL): Candidates must have at least 60% marks in class 12th or equivalent examination in the Science stream.
Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD): Candidates must have at least 55% marks.
Exam Pattern for IISER IAT 2025
The IISER entrance exam will be based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs). A total of 60 questions will be asked from four subjects Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics.
Number of questions from each subject: 15
Total time of the exam: 180 minutes (3 hours)
Type of questions: Multiple choice questions with only one correct answer
Marking Scheme for IISER IAT 2025
4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
If any question is left blank, no marks will be awarded for it.
The exam will carry a maximum of 240 marks.
