Manisha Koirala has always been known for her classy and elegant roles so when she appeared in a bold avatar in Ek Chhoti Si Love Story (2002) fans were completely shocked. The 2-hour 2-minute film featured Manisha in daring outfits and intimate scenes something no one had expected from her. Directed by Shashilal K. Nair the film starred Manisha Koirala alongside Aditya Seal Saroj Bhargava and Ranvir Shorey. The story revolves around a teenage boy who becomes obsessed with a woman living in the apartment opposite his. He secretly watches her through a telescope observing her daily activities. His infatuation grows to the point where he wants to be around her all the time. However one day he sees her being intimate with another man which leaves him heartbroken. Unable to control his emotions he follows her and confesses everything. What happens next takes an unexpected turn making the film even more intense. Manisha’s bold scenes and revealing outfits sparked huge controversy at the time. Some scenes in the film were considered so daring that they were not suitable for family viewing.
