The International Masters League (IML) 2025 continues to build excitement as three more cricketing icons — Chris Gayle Makhaya Ntini and Monty Panesar — join the star-studded tournament which includes legends like Sachin Tendulkar Brian Lara and Kumar Sangakkara. Gayle the iconic power-hitter will don the West Indies Masters jersey while South African pace legend Makhaya Ntini and England’s celebrated spinner Monty Panesar will represent their respective nations. The inaugural season of IML featuring Masters from across the globe is set to take place from February 22 to March 16 2025 across Navi Mumbai Rajkot and Raipur. Gayle is one of the most explosive and entertaining batters in cricket history. With an unmatched ability to clear boundaries at will his presence adds firepower to the West Indies Masters. Gayle managed to scored over 14562 runs in 463 T20 matches in his career at a strike-rate of 144.75 with 22 hundreds and 88 fifties. In international cricket Gayle managed over 18000 runs in Tests ODIs and T20s with 42 centuries to his name. Speaking about his participation Ntini remarked “I am proud to represent South Africa Masters in season one of the International Masters League a tournament in which the masters of the sport are reuniting. I can assure you that this reunion is going to be memorable. The cricket we produce will be hard unrelenting and breathtaking. Cricket fans are in for a treat.” Former England left-arm spinner Monty Panesar famous for his heroics in India in 2012-13 is set to bolster the England Masters squad.
