In the expansive world of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, trainers encounter various Pokémon with unique evolutionary paths. One such Pokémon is Sneasel, which boasts two distinct forms: the traditional Johto form and the regional Hisuian form. Each form evolves into a different Pokémon, and understanding these evolutions is crucial for dedicated trainers.
Hisuian Sneasel to Sneasler
Hisuian Sneasel is a regional variant introduced in the Hisui region. To evolve this form into Sneasler, you’ll need a specific item and must meet certain conditions.
Obtain a Razor Claw: This essential item can be acquired in a couple of ways:
Purchase: Visit the Trading Post in Jubilife Village, where you can buy a Razor Claw for 1,400 Merit Points. Merit Points are earned by returning lost satchels scattered throughout the Hisui region.
Wild Encounters: Some wild Hisuian Sneasels may hold a Razor Claw. By catching or defeating these Sneasels, there’s a chance they’ll drop the item.
Evolve During the Day: Once you’ve secured a Razor Claw, ensure it’s daytime in your game. Use the item on Hisuian Sneasel during this period to initiate its evolution into Sneasler. If it’s currently night, you can rest at a camp or your quarters until morning to make the transition.
CONTRACT SNEAILS TO WEAVILE
The original Johto form of Sneasel also requires a Razor Claw for evolution, but the process differs slightly:
Catch A Leadership Sneel: This variant can be found within Space-Time Distortions in the Obsidian Fieldlands. These distortions appear randomly, so patience is key. Once inside, search diligently for a Johto Sneasel.
Obtain a Razor Claw: Similar to the Hisuian form, you’ll need a Razor Claw. You can either purchase it from the Trading Post or hope to find one held by wild Sneasels.
Evolve at Night: With the Razor Claw in hand, wait until nightfall. Use the item on Johto Sneasel during this time to evolve it into Weavile. To adjust the time, rest until nightfall at a camp or your quarters.
Key Considerations
Time of Day: The evolution of both forms is time-sensitive. Hisuian Sneasel evolves during the day, while Johto Sneasel evolves at night. Ensure you’re using the Razor Claw at the appropriate time to achieve the desired evolution.
Merit Points: Collecting lost satchels not only aids fellow trainers but also rewards you with Merit Points, which are invaluable for purchasing evolution items like the Razor Claw.
Space-Time Distortions: These phenomena are unpredictable. When one appears, seize the opportunity to explore it thoroughly, as it may house rare Pokémon like the Johto Sneasel.
By understanding these evolutionary methods, trainers can successfully add both Sneasler and Weavile to their Pokédex, further enriching their journey through the Hisui region.
