He will introduce a number of farmer welfare programs including the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Nidhi Yojna, which would help almost 13 crore farmers throughout the country. On February 5, Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, makes his second trip to Patna in less than a month.

Gandhi will take part in the politically crucial birth anniversary celebration of independence fighter Jaglal Choudhary, often known as the “Gandhi of Bihar,” according to Akhilesh Prasad Singh, head of the state congress and a member of the Rajya Sabha.

Gandhi earlier spoke at a “Samvidhan Suraksha Sammelan” in Patna on January 18. In order to protest paper leaks, he made it a point to meet with BPSC exam applicants. He also visited Lalu Prasad, the leader of the RJD. Sharad Pawar, the leader of the NCP (SP) and a former Union minister, will also be in Bihar for the first time in over 20 years. On February 27, he will be in Katihar to talk about bolstering the party’s base of support in Katihar and the surrounding areas.

The district of Katihar is located in the state’s Seemanchal area, which is mostly Muslim. The Katihar Lok Sabha seat is held by Congressman Tariq Anwar, a founding member of the united NCP. According to reports, the party is targeting 150 of the 243 assembly seats.
