Delhi Assembly Election 2025: What’s Open and What’s Closed?With just two days left until the Delhi Assembly elections, preparations are in full swing. The voting is scheduled for February 5, and results will be declared on February 8. Since polling will take place in a single phase, many residents are curious about which services will be available on the voting day.
What Will Remain Open?To facilitate smooth voting, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that metro services will start at 4 AM on all routes. Trains will run at 30-minute intervals until 6 AM, after which normal operations will resume.
Additionally, Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) will deploy extra buses on 35 routes from 4 AM to ensure that voters and election officials can reach their designated polling centers conveniently.
Essential services such as hospitals, pharmacies, grocery stores, and food outlets will remain operational, ensuring no disruption to daily necessities.
