Ever since Bigg Boss 18 ended, Karan Veer Mehra and Chum Darang lovers at heart wanted to know whether ChumVeer was still together or not. Inside the house, the two were very close, and Karan had openly confessed his feelings towards Chum, who also admitted but described it as a “complicated” story. Since then, lots of speculations started doing the rounds about them.

Chum Darang, recently went to her home town, Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh where fans gave her a grand welcome. Videos shared on social media platform show flowers greeting her, hugs with the well-wishers, and dancing with the fan too. The actress in the media interaction couldn’t but ask her about Karan Veer Mehra and their relationship.

When asked why she hasn’t confessed their relationship while fans believe them to be true, Chum surprised everyone by saying, “We are just friends. Aisa kuch nahi hai,” ruling out dating speculation. She even talked about wedding speculations at the end of September, responding with a merry laugh, “I am getting married, but I am getting married to my work.

Chum Darang’s mother also spoke about Karan Veer Mehra and sang his praises as a wonderful person and even saying that he is “like a son” to her. She accepted that he has always been supporting Chum inside the Bigg Boss house but reminded everyone that their relationship is just platonic.

Chum Darang was also among the top five contestants of Bigg Boss 18 for being the only female finalist. She competed with Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Vivian Dsena, and Karan Veer Mehra, where the winner was Karan Veer Mehra.

Despite the undeniable chemistry between Chum and Karan on the show, both have maintained that they are just friends, putting all romance rumors to rest. Fans, however, continue to hope for more between them.
