Sonu Nigam is one of the most popular and loved singers in India. He has given us iconic songs over the decades—from Kal Ho Naa Ho to Saathiya to Abhi Mujhme Kahin, and several others.

He recently experienced an unfortunate health incident that concerned his fans. He shared a video where he suffered from 'excruciating pain' just ahead of his show in Pune. Taking to Instagram, Sonu posted clips of himself from the show.

However, what’s even braver is that he chose to perform even after experiencing the pain.

In the video, Sonu was seen lying in bed as he spoke to the camera. He winced in pain while his team tried to help him and got down from the stage with others helping him. He stretched and tried to fix his pain.

However, his health trigger, which began right before his show, didn't dampen his spirits. Sonu was still seen dancing as he performed.

In the video, Sonu said, "One of the most difficult days of my life but very fulfilling. I was thinking gaate gaate jhatka dete hai na, that can also trigger the spasm. But I managed somehow. I never want to do less or give less when people expect so much from me. Ho gaya acha. I'm glad. This shaped up fine."

He continued, "But excruciating, excruciating pain. Laga tha jaese ek needle mere spine mein laga rakhi hai. Itna sa yaha waha ho aur needle spine mein ghus jayegi. It was like that. Really bad," he added.

Sharing the clip, Sonu captioned it, "Sarasvati ji did hold my hand last night."
